GCNM seeks to establish and strengthen a national digital Community-Led Monitoring system to improve accountability and responsiveness in malaria programming.
What CLM would monitor
Community volunteers and civil society organisations would collect real-time information on barriers affecting ITN use, IPTp uptake, diagnosis, treatment access and quality of malaria services.
How the feedback loop works
- Listen: document community experience and service barriers.
- Verify: validate findings through structured reporting and follow-up.
- Act: share evidence with District Health Management Teams and NMEP for response and decision-making.
- Learn: track actions, feedback and service improvements over time.
Digital mobile-based reporting is intended to support rapid data collection, analysis and community feedback while strengthening transparency, participation and responsiveness.
