    Through its work and association with promoting partnership and inclusivity, the membership of the GCNM over the years have been working assiduously to employ strategies and tactics to reduce Malaria prevalence, communicable and non-communicable diseases and discrimination of all forms against marginalized groups.

    COMMUNITY MALARIA AWARENESS PROGRAM (CMAP)

    • GCNM intend to work in all the 264 districts and communities. The social and behavioral change communication is critical to the success of any malaria intervention and members of GCNM are better placed to play this role.

    COMMUNITY LED-MONITORING

    • Communities across Ghana and the population at large continue to face health challenge pose by malaria and sometimes persons affected by malaria face continuing challenges of service quality, commodity supply and distribution, and human rights barriers for vulnerable populations.

    INCREASE IPTP UPTAKE AMONG PREGNANT WOMEN

    • GCNM would leverage on its membership and CBAs to improve on a community system approach that will mobilize, monitor, control and directly observe the intake of IPTp among pregnant women towards the elimination of malaria in Ghana.

    PARTNERSHIP BUILDING

    GCNM will work towards strengthen partnerships to enable us leverage on collective resources to sustain and upscale community outreach activities. We will seek greater collaboration with donors, private sector organizations and NMEP for resource mobilization.
