The GCNM History

The Coalition is governed by a seven (7) member Board of Directors, which comprises strong, multi- disciplinary leaders within civil society.

2008

Founded

 

The Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Malaria (GCNM) is a Civil Society organization alliance founded in 2008. Its membership consists of NGOs, FBOs and CBOs   in communities throughout Ghana.

2015

Our Core Mandate

The coalition was set up to oversee the operations of NGOs in the fight against malaria in all the communities in Ghana with emphasis on behavioral change communication to various stakeholders. This came about as result of witnessing the negative impact of the long-standing Malaria endemic on the Ghanaian society especially children under five years and pregnant women.

2020

Our Collaboration

GCNM, since its formation has collaborated with National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP) executing malaria interventions at the lowest level of the health delivery system in the communities.

Our State

GCNM is therefore, taking a bold step to champion advocacy and community led Monitoring of health services delivery at the communities across the country and will advocate strongly for human right and gender issues in the next 5 years 23-2028.
