Job Title: M&E/Programmes Officer
Location: Accra, Ghana
Reports to: Executive Secretary
Duration: Fixed Term, 1-year renewable contract
The M&E and Programmes Officer will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the coalition’s programmatic activities. This role ensures the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects to achieve alignment with the coalition’s objectives and donor requirements.
Develop and implement M&E frameworks and indicators to track progress, measure outcomes, and assess the impact of coalition programs.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor and evaluate program activities, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from program activities, providing actionable feedback to improve effectiveness.
Prepare periodic M&E reports, summarizing findings and recommendations for program adjustments.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies for strengthening M&E practices.
Support the design of surveys, assessments, and evaluations for project activities.
Lead, plan, execute, and manage programmatic initiatives, from proposal writing to reporting.
Coordinate with coalition partners to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Support the development of program budgets, work plans, and activity schedules.
Liaise with stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, and other NGOs, to strengthen partnerships and ensure effective collaboration.
Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials on project outcomes and lessons learned.
Facilitate capacity-building activities, workshops, and training sessions for local partners.
Support fundraising efforts, including grant writing and proposal development.
Assist in data collection, management, and analysis to inform program activities.
Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
Prepare and submit comprehensive program reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Document best practices, success stories, and lessons learned from program activities.
Ensure M&E findings are integrated into programmatic decision-making processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E, program management, or a related role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Stata) and M&E software.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Knowledge of malaria prevention and control strategies in Ghana is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with stakeholder engagement and partnership management.
