GCNM Outlines Proposed Role in SMC Social Mobilization
GCNM seeks to support community mobilization, sensitization and caregiver awareness during SMC implementation through its civil society network.
20 September 2026 · GCNM National SecretariatGCNM has proposed a role in the social mobilization component of Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention implementation. The proposal would use civil society organisations and community structures to support household awareness, sensitization, caregiver engagement and demand generation.
The coalition intends to coordinate this work with NMEP, Regional Health Directorates and District Health Teams to keep community mobilization aligned with implementation plans and target populations.
